No word on how many support "Outfidels!" over "Suspicious Packages" as a name for Greg Gutfeld's new Muslim-themed gay bar to be opened next door to the mosque. I prefer the former."

This approach seems to me the best way to oppose the mosque. Let them build it and open it, then have two gay Muslim New York dudes insist on getting married inside the mosque even if New York city doesn't recognize the legality of the marriage. Have some female Muslim New York ladies insist that they be given equal opportunity to be the mosques main imam, and speak each week on the lack or religious rights and freedoms in Saudi Arabia. Have activist at every "sermon" (or whatever an imam's speech is called) and anytime a non-English language is spoken they stand up and say "I'm sorry, I can't understand what you are saying, can you please say that in English?". Have activists at every sermon that interupt the imam and ask about whether it's true that the word of a non-Muslim counts as half the word of a Muslim in a sharia court, and other aspects of Islam that are deemed offensive.

A concentrated effort by those opposed to Islamic fundamentalism might help the mosque, once it is built and operational, to become a beacon of light to shine on all things in Islam which are offensive to American values of equality and liberty. It would take a lot of effort, but would make for some interesting discussion.
