Imp reports quarterly earnings tomorrow. You guys may be right about Imp taking a tumble in the future, but recent events-- ignoring last year and earlier (!) --don't support it because Imp has held up pretty well, one of a few stocks up a little today, and in the last Q it held up OK in spite of the fact that Fairholme and Schaller have been selling what are significant vol. for a stock traded this lightly. My opinion.

Called up and spoke to the nice lady at IR again. She said Imp has not been well known by IB's because they never have to raise money, but management is meeting people from NY and Toronto and more people are getting to know them. (No prize for guessing those relationships will be necessary if they are going to raise money for Red Chris.) Said they would hope to develop Red Chris on their own. (That of course depends on how things work out.) Said that it would be quicker to build a mine at Red Chris than to complete the power line. Maybe two years for a mine, and at the moment the power line is supposed to take three and three quarters years. Agreed that IMP is still undervalued.
