Brumey, you have a talent for missing the point of a discussion. My original question was to everyone and asked if anyone knew whether hedge fund trades and option trades are reported to the IRS on a 1099 or equivalent. If not, and I think its not, the feds are losing a helluva lot revenue on profits not reported...many billions I suspect. I have no knowledge of individuals but if I did I would turn them in.... Do you need any further clarification? If you don't know the answer don't try and bluff it.
