Nothing about superiority. Did, or did not, the Chinese rulers at the time of the first contacts between China and the West, believe they were "civilized" while the westerners were "barbarians"? That's the origin of the term Gweilo. And don't take all too seriously.. I UNDERSTAND why they may use that term, just as some westerners might call them "slants" due to their slanted eyes. But it doesn't make it right to perpetuate such ignorant and denigrating terms by being afraid to attempt change of perception. People are people.. We all bleed red and put our pants on one leg at a time. The only thing that defines us is what we think and the actions those thoughts initiate. Hawk
