Bill, saw your link over on the ZITL thread regarding Chase Manhattan bank. They have 200M lines of code and are using the following tools/services:

IBM ISSC using Redevelopment Assistant and AutoEnhancer/2000; Computer Horizons using Signature 2000; Alltel using IMR's own tool.

Sure does not look like they are doing the majority of the work in-house! I think this is probably representative of the industry. How about you?
