I would tend to agree that Intel (and its investors) should worry (or at least give reasonable consideration) about products that might change the current PC paradigm.

According to an article in today's WSJ, however (at update.wsj.com!WJ09/1002:02+++7!&time=09/10+02:02 ), Mr. Ellison expects that most NCs will be based on Intel chips.

The only problem is if they find a way to make the old computers sufficiently useful as to avoid upgrades. Given the requirements of most popular software and bandwidth problems, that doesn't seem likely to occur too soon.
