Telecommunication Companies w/ good Dividend yield Re: Verizon Communications Inc. Com (NYSE: VZ) AT&T Inc. (NYSE: T) Frontier Communications Corpora (NYSE: FTR) Anybody have an opinion on the stocks listed above. I bought these stocks for their good dividend yield and am not sure how secure their dividends will be in the future. Their business is transitioning into digital media that requires huge capital expenditures to remain competitive. There is always the threat that new technology (ie. wireless) could leapfrog the incumbent. Both are selling below their 200 day MA so maybe it's a good hold. Just sit tight and collect the dividend. Has anybody invested in this sector and/or these companies? What's your strategy? EKS
