My goodness, isn't it nice of those Frenchmen "to keep expensive backup generation capacity on permanent standby" just for the small "green power" countries when the wind doesn't blow.

Clearly if the French are doing this to promote "green power" in Europe and make it more cost effective it would be a "serious" mistake for the US to ever consider something such as this in a new energy plan for our country. Why migosh, they are socialists...
