The above is typical of the nonsense that comes from your crowd...Carter puts us on a renewables track in 197x and Reagan turns it off and spends us into "Star Wars" and your crowd wants to name airports after him and ridicules Carter for his correct view of the energy future. Bush tells us to "travel" after 9/11, when we were as united as we have ever been and willing to sacrifice and then invades Iraq to get his family revenge and your crowd cheers him on...oh yes, "cheap" oil there.

And where are we today, 30 years later? ...no money, a military budget out of control and probably now uncontrollable, no energy plan and when Gore/Obama even discuss energy your crowd smirks, comes up with silly skeptic arguments led by the Moncktons, InHofes, Singers, Faux, Beck, and the posters such as you on this board etc., and you talk about "inane".

OHMIGOSH! Keep sticking your head deeper and deeper in the hotter and hotter sand.
