Active-X Vs. Java isn't a competion since activeX only supports microsoft applications on microsoft windows machines. Java is availible for UNIX WINDOWS(NT,3.1,95) and even Mac (I think) The real question is How will Sun make money of off Java? I anticipate that Coffee-Pot or whatever they end up calling their Java Operating system will be a big boost for Sun, possibly moving the company more into software (JavaSoft). What do people think?
