I am going to wait until we have a decent network, i.e., Verizon, running iPads. My antiquated Treo on a Verizon network smokes the iPhones, which are forced to use AT&T. I assume it will do the same to iPads, though it clearly does not have the apps. The Treo is all I need for now. I'm a cheap frugal b*****d. Doing a google search for "antiquated Treo" makes me very proud. Soon, the fashions will change and I will be 'a cool retro dude' instead of an old fart with a clunky phone. google.com I really cannot understand why a visionary like Jobs didn't cut a deal with Verizon, which is clearly the best and fastest network in the US. Our pal Mq knows a lot about this, and I used to as well, but my knowledge got dated as I moved on to other stuff.
