I have Chinese and Japanese living in my block. Their grandparents went through the Japanese internment camps and Angel Island segregation. I even asked one of the surviving grandmother (close to 98 years now) about the internment camps. These folks do not want to talk about it. They say they have moved on, and it seems that they want to close that dark chapter and look ahead.

Should we take a cue from this about 9/11 and move on. Besides, there are so many who sacrificed their lives for this country such as in Korea, Viet Nam, Pearl Horbor etc. I don't hear their survivors raising the issue of having lost loved ones at every point along the way.

I wonder, how much is the noise from the relatives of those we lost during 9/11 and how much of it is from vested interests such as Limbaugh, Hannity etc.
