BC, "Cycled around with a guy last week who was writing algorithms for the black boxes. These guys really don't get it - no interest in the big picture whatsoever. It's all just a statistical exercise to them. And they're ALL looking at the same dataset. Draw your own conclusions. I want to see what happens when all these black boxes try to cram through the exits at the same time." Exactly, but that's all trading firms are looking for. Reminds me of all trading the same direction long or short. But w/machines running the asylum nothing matters! And on the last point think "Flash Crash II " coming soon to a market near you! -ng-
