That is how it is legally accomplished! (Duh!)

However *that* last statement does not follow.

As I have already pointed out they COULD NOT HAVE EMERGED FROM BANKRUPTCY 'REORGANIZATION' nearly as fast (or even at all) *without* the new cash.

Did not have necessary cash to continue operations (according to their auditor and the bankruptcy judge), plants & colaterals would have been seized, LIQUIDATION would have been the only exit from bankruptcy.
