Good point Cal. The results from 67 and 75 were garnered in normal course drilling on permitted locations. When the holes returned values the process of permitting new locations to allow the geology to be drilled was begun (Oct 15). The time to permit was estimated at two to three weeks and drilling continued on the already permitted locations. The permitted locations that have been drilled since the "22%" core, were permitted long ago and have NOTHING to do with the results from 67 & 75. The locations that Donner/Teck would have liked to drill, had to be permitted. For anyone not familiar with Canadian environmental regulations, permits ARE required for all drilling locations, even if there are "pots and pans" to be had. heheheh. After the locations were permitted they had to be drilled and core(s) (if any) had to be shipped and analyzed.
Read this post and figure out a potential timeline by yourself, this is so elementary that anyone (even your cat) should be able to do it.

Someone is pissed because they own Cartaway(the Dead) and not Donner (who wouldn't be). If you believed in Cartaway(the Dead) before they scammed the world, you would be rich, not poor and bitchin.
According to "Supervalue" we should all OWN/LOVE/ADORE Cartaway(the Dead) and SELL/DESPISE/HATE Donner.
CWA October 97 .35 - .26 DRZ October 97 1.00 - 3.00
Go figure.
I am just guessing that somebody bought a whole bunch of Cartaway(the Dead) for $8.00 plus and hasn't even averaged down yet.
Another guess, somebody sold their Donner shares for $2.15 (after the last news release)and wants that to be the right decision. What would make someone afraid, the word "re-mobilized" or "localized". heheheh
My advice, let it ride folks, this type of play is THE REASON to speculate. Don't sell the farm to buy in now but having some capital in the SVB project would be prudent. I would recommend Donner or Northern Abitibi, Donner would probably be the best. Cal is absolutley right, this could be years but IMHO this play is actually an extension of the original DFR discovery and subsequent interest in this area. The potentials are similar.
That core was 22% metal. |
