I agree with you, i modeled out the mcafee number and at 60% premium it is about a 1$-2$ deduction from Intel most likely in my opinion presuming it adds no value. I was in same boat, but i don't feel like timing it, so i picked some up here (and actually my fill happened while i was on the plane), i plan to pick up some more if it drops.

What was Intel thinking? do tech companies just get bored? I guess it is our fault as shareholders that we continue to support the stock even after poor capital allocation.

Also, does it say anything that intel is having to acquire mcafee? are they concerned about there growth prospects even after a record quarter? Ive read alot of different reports and i still do not know why they acquired them. Any help?
