Following my help wanted ad yest and pop ratio illustration, which should have read:
250 million brain heads with ability to produce countless new generations of high tech products, would like to do business with 6 Billion others interested in buying same...
Call 1-202-Congress.
Here's the piece on Microsoft I promised Margaret I would post:
As for MSFT, seems like nothing can keep this stock down down for long, (doj reaction, Asian flu, Iraq etc.)
Looks like a major bull flag could be developing. I guess people are starting to wake up to the fact that with or without IE 4.0 bundled with Windows 98, the hundreds of millions of computers that will be manufactured in the next few years to satisfy worldwide demand will virtually guarantee Microsoft billions upon billions in royalties and if by some grand plan, that's been part of the agenda all along, that might emerge from a potential settlement with DOJ, they were to actually start "charging" people, (so as to compete fairly), with an "unbundled separate product" that has since become undisputedly the World's best browser, not to mention the awesome number of planned and new products and upgrades in the pipeline, the potential is almost too mindboggling to contemplate!
With an arsenal and war chest such as this might provide, along with the greatest money making machine ever invented, Microsoft will surely be set to become the World's largest corporation and Bill Gates will probably be well on his way to becoming the World's first and only centi-billionaire of our time, maybe even before we reach the year 2000, if this bull resumes its thunder.
This latest ploy to conquer and garner the 21st Cenury's telephone / telecommuter system Viz.. coaxial cable integrated with low orbit satellite network interspersed with fibre optic on an as need basis that can transport Video, voice and data at hundreds of times the speed of twisted wires, it becomes easier to see what the real game plan is and where this juggernaut is headed next.
I would not be suprised if there is a major plan in the works to integrate Intel's technologies into every possible aspect of this development in order to solidify the continuance of the powerful Wintel alliance and ensure that they are there from the foundations to the completion of this great new platform in whatever form it may finally take to facilitate the ultimate convergence of TV, Video, Voice on the highest speed digital computer network of the future. Judging by the strength in CSCO, they will no doubt also be a featured player. Anyone got any ideas on who else might benefit from this.
