I don't know how many of your here read SH.
I have to post this. It gets the blood pressure moving higher but in a good way.
Sure, we could have nothing under the ground but on the other hand we could have a (potentially several) large deposit of gold.
And isn't that why we speculate on junior penny stocks?

from Omnipotent:
I am usually reluctant to talk about a small cap junior mining company like Teuton moving up to the big leagues with an epic discovery. Most readers will dismiss such talk as pumping or ridiculous. However, the fact is that Teuton has several properties that are indeed in elephant country. Lets not forget that Teuton is no Johnny-come-lately. Teuton CEO Dino Cremonese staked many of these properties in the 80's and 90's: long before there was a Mitchell deposit (the "M" in the KSM deposit that has incredible reserves of 26 million ounces of gold, 4.8 billion pounds of copper, 125 million ounces of silver and 175 million pounds of Moly), before there was Snowfield (over 20 million ounces of gold and over 50 million ounces of silver) and before there was Brucejack (10 million ounces of gold, 140 million ounces of silver and growing all the time) Dino was there and staking properties.
My geologist friend, who knew Dino long ago, describes him as a hoarder. He staked the hell out of the area ages ago and just sat on many prime properties. Only now, with gigantic multi-million ounce gold deposits springing up around Teuton's long-held mineral claims, the time has come to drill and find out what's hiding beneath the surface. Considering the close proximity of our properties to these monster deposits, the similar geology and the way the mineralization is trending it would be stupid to discount the possibility that Teuton could have a mega find over the next year or two.
Last year we got the first hint of a major discovery when a hole drilled on Treaty Creek hit over 200m of mineralization. This year we'll get drill results from up to 5 other Teuton properties. Maybe the results will be very good. Maybe they'll disappoint. Nobody knows yet. But, never lose track of the possibility that something extraordinary might happen. The elephant in the room that everyone is reluctant to talk about is that Teuton's shareprice could go parabolic if the twin of Brucejack, Eskay Creek, KSM or Snowfield turns out to be on land that Teuton drills this year.
