Remember, that this is a conclusion based on averages. This can be used for analyzing a historical budget, but it cannot be used to plan the future.

If you avoid obesity, smoking and excessive drinking, you will avoid chronical illnesses, your health care expenses will be lower, per year, and if you want to end your life early, there are many ways to do that except ruining the rest of it.

But as you can also conclude, a life-long retirement pension insurance should be cheaper for obese and smokers, and any attempt to lose weight or stop smoking should give a significant hike in payments.
