Thanks much for the insight, your comments, and the resources that you cited, West! It will be very interesting to see how this all plays out. Robert "Elliot Wave" Prechter is calling for a triple digit DJIA, and Faber has indicated that such a crash is certainly plausible. Celente has stated that western civilization is doomed! These gentlemen are not nutjobs and they are far from alone in their assessments. Indeed, many forward-thinking, highly-intelligent people concur. From my perspective, all anecdotal evidence that is visible supports such dire projections and pessimistic views. It is difficult to base anything on empirical evidence, because governments are notorious for cooking their own books, doctoring up the commercial numbers, and then leaking out fragments of the truth months or years later.
