Your form of economics has lead to a super wealthy class where too much of the country's wealth is flowing to that class.
I don't have my own form of economics. To the extent I support anything that could be called a form, its the form of economic freedom, which has been the main factor behind the huge increase in wealth in recent centuries. Imposing more government control over the economy
1 - Is what has been happening for a long time, so if any broad change in the level of government involvement is responsible for the housing bubble, financial crisis, and recession, it would have to be one of more control.
2 - Has the possibility of more equality, but may not even give us that, since it will tend to shift resources to the well connected.
3 - Shifts those resources to the well connected, from the most efficient, generally reducing both freedom and growth, and making almost everyone worse off in the long run.
Is that what you want, Tim? Class warfare?
No but its what your pushing, at least the not openly violent type of class warfare. |
