Sandisk is a recent example of latent price movement based on information. Intel came out with their report stating weakness in flash, it was a week later than Sandisk fell $36 to high $20s. it seems larger money management firms tend to (a) take longer to digest information, or (b) accumulate a stock at levels afer the information creating a smaller float and eventual price squeeze
