This is my first post ever. I started buying Iomega in June 1995 and, after a lot of gyrations around May of last year, still have a rather large position that I wouldn't even think about selling for at least 5-7 years. I also own both a PP Zip drive and a Jaz drive and have had no problems whatsoever with either of them.

After several problems that forced me to reformat my C: drive, and, subsequently, a hard drive crash I had to have something that prevented me from spending another 3 days burning midnight oil. Just try reinstalling Windows 95 and all your other software and remembering all the settings that you like. I now have a 5.1 GB Western Digital hard drive and have partitioned the drive into 1 MB for C:, D: and E: with F: being 2 GB. All the software I have to have on an every day basis is now installed on the C: partition.

I then bought this new product..Drive Image. Using it in an UNCOMPRESSED mode, I backed up my entire C: partition (approx. 700 MB) in about 40 minutes. Drive Image creates one contiguous file somewhat like a tape drive but much faster. The registry and EVERYTHING is backed up. Now, if I ever have to "reinstall" my C: partition, all I have to do is restore the Drive Image file from my Jaz disk in about 40 minutes instead of 3 days....slick huh!!!!!!

Drive Image really runs in DOS and you would have to boot to their boot disk, then run the restore. Won't bore you with more details but I'M HAPPY!!!!!
