My brother told me he would never answer another question from me if I did not pull all my retirement money out of the market and wait till he told me befroe I put it back in. However, he has average 25% return in the same period that the SP averaged 130%. He did well to make that much shorting stocks but I did better being a lemming. Now he may be right. Actually he has been very right the last two weeks. So I am very nervous. And you are right that I have been learning about investing for about a year. My first stock was Donna Karan. Oh what a lesson that was !! (Bought at the top)--I should have listened to my brother!
