"Why do you think Poles are identified with dumb people and made fun of??

It began in WWII when the Poles were defeated so easily by German and Russian army forces. One account claims a Polish Calvary division attacked a German Tank battalion and was decimated. Although that event has been disputed, it may have been the archetype of what was to come.
