THE OPINION: Goldman Sachs analyst Matthew Fassler upgraded Lowe's to "Buy" from "Neutral" on several factors working in the company's favor. The company, based in Mooresville, N.C., is the second-largest home improvement retailer behind Home Depot Inc. The retailers have been struggling as shoppers put off big purchases and the housing market slumps.

But Fassler said the company should see margins accelerate in upcoming quarters as it keeps its costs in check, benefits from higher prices and sells more costly products.

What more costly goods?
BBQs?
Lawn movers?
Garden shacks?
Portable ACs?
So what is the incentive to buy at HD? - heck I buy most of my stuff (chain saws and other stuff) online.
Most high $ items I buy on line anyway

But according to GS Intel is dead money - insane
