It's very easy for us to go into a depression. We don't produce anything. The USA has become essentially a service based economy. Likewise, do you really think the Chinese are really going to make-up for their loss of the American consumer by selling to India? Last time I checked, the average Indian and Brazillian made pennies versus their American equivalent.
