Is it possibly they chucked all that faulty methodology and the built in assumption that government spending is good for the economy, and did a real study of the issue? I suppose it is, but I see zero evidence indicating any change.

You said it was worthless or something to that effect...now you allow for other possibilities...your bias is showing.

Also even if they did do a real study that would just be developing and presenting their own opinion not some unquestionable statement of absolute uncontestable fact.
