I'm saying that's the formula for any candidate to win...not being specific about party...i gave up that game a long time ago....politics are pretty much the antithesis of truth so i have little use for it... I think we could save $200 billion per year off the pentagon's standard budget and another $300 billion from ending wars...add the $300 billion or so when the bush tax cuts expire and we are at $800 billion...then put a freeze on all federal government salaries (for the next 5 years)...maybe even ask for a 5% across the board pay cut... The real shit begins when you examine the unfunded liabilities going forward...that will take some real work...
