NEW! Rapid Deployment of DSL Services Over Existing Wiring

The Ascend MultiDSLT family of products offers the first integrated solution for providing
multiple DSL services at speeds raging from 128 Kbps to 6Mbps. This comprehensive
offering includes both the Central Office Equipment (COE) and the Customer Premises
Equipment (CPE) required for implementing DSL services immediately over the existing
twisted pair copper wiring.

MultiDSL is the ideal solution for supporting high-bandwidth applications such as remote
access, Internet access and telecommuting. Supported technologies include Ascend's ISDN
Digital Subscriber Line (IDSL) in addition to Symmetric Digital Subscriber Line (SDSL), and
Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line - Carrierless Amplitude Phase Modulation
(ADSL-CAP).

Central Office Equipment: MAX 4000, 4002, 4004, MAX TNT

MultiDSL COE products allow carriers to leverage their copper wiring investments to
quickly launch high-speed access services from 128 Kbps (IDSL) to 6.14 Mbps (ADSL).
By installing MultiDSL line cards into one of the MAX products, users can cost-effectively
support a wide range of services and advanced software functionality with a single
manageable platform.
