MJ, what you are saying is good news. we need the economic pain to awaken the whole country. we are in the process of being punished for our fiscal insanity. but it is going to get worse.

i believe we still have the time to walk out of this crisis relatively unscathed if we do the right things very quickly. but our politicos don't have the understanding or the courage to do those things. they'll exacerbate the damage already done with further lame-ass government programs such as more bailouts and tax credits that will worsen the situation, instead of making it better. our political leaders are not only corrupt, but incredibly dense. the only one in office that has a semblance of economic knowledge is ron paul. the one that could have helped us the most was peter schiff, but he got turned back in connecticut.

i think nearly everyone will see before this is over, that they should have elected schiff when they had the chance.

there are too many rino's like mccain that are getting re-elected. republican doesn't automatically mean 'conservative' anymore.

the pain is big, but i think it's going to get a lot bigger.
