AND SPENDING PRIORITIES.

No not "and spending priorities. My comment that you objected to was about the tax cuts, when you objected, that became the topic.

And if we where trying to measure the effect of all the major impacts, than we need to know the effect of each, not just the combination. The combination of all things that effect the economy, has the result that we have the economy we have today. It doesn't tell us anything about the actual causes of the specific factors, or how big of impact each one had, it only tells us the net effect of all of them. If your looking for the net effect at all, it doesn't make much sense to even talk about factors, your really just talking about current economic statistics. To examine the factors you have to look at the factors.

Your interested in the effects of spending. OK, that's one more big complex thing that we can't be totally certain about. But its a thing we might agree about at least in broad terms. I say the spending increases hurt the economy. Do you agree? If you agree than fine we are done with that topic and can get back to the effects of the taxes. If you don't agree why?
