We have posted about the very, very preliminary research that might suggest correlations between political ideology and other behaviors. But it's still so tenuous that no responsible academic would base broad conclusions on it. Calling other POVs inherently defective is just a cop-out for the intolerant. My niece (who just came back from a two-month internship in Kurdistan) posted a piece on Facebook condemning the proposed Koran-burning in Florida. One of the commenters was a young evangelical who basically said that only Christianity could possibly be true and holy so it was just fine to hate and destroy other religions. Talk about WWJD.
