Yep, who knows - if they think there's a short position there that can be squeezed? I don't typically buy into rumours, but I definitely do pay attention to them just in case because some turn out to be true. One of the interviews I watched on King World news was Hugo Salinas Price - he seemed very coy when it came to silver, insinuating that maybe it could be used to back currencies in Mexico, it was before. And he would be fairly connected. But I don't recall him actually saying it per se. So doesn't really mean anything, but all this stuff and rumours do truly make you wonder if something is up, whatever it may be, LOL. Warren Buffet tried to corner the silver market big once. One of the KWN interviews with Jim Sinclair talked a bit about that, although they didn't mention him by name since there was some impropriety around it.
