8/27/10 Update Friday’s secret signal from Bernanke didn’t sufficiently stir the Bulls to wipe out the losses earlier in the week. When Friday’s closing bell rang, the Nasdaq Composite Index was down -5.09% YTD (vs. down -3.94% YTD a week ago) and the Nasdaq Biotech Index was down -2.05% YTD (vs. down -1.47% YTD a week ago). And even Contest median is now in the red, closing down -.57% YTD (vs. up 2.98% YTD a week ago). DEWDIL’s portfolio (up 45.38% YTD) grabbed the Contest lead back, with ROCKY’s portfolio (up 40.51% YTD) falling to second place. FILO's portfolio (up 26.63% YTD) held on to third place. At Friday's close, 16 of the 32 Contest portfolios were in the black with 17 of the 32 beating the NBI. Below is the Top Ten list.
