Hi etch, Fragmentation od market is big boys saying we don't want to play in the public sand box. It should be made illegal. This is protection for the little guy. There still are big block trading desks at brokers ,but it is in the electronic world that these large transaction cannot be hidden. Thus the dark pools that are designed to trade big blocks outside of the small investors sight. If a sharp politician learned of this inequity and parlayed it into a fairness issue - it would go a long way towards relieving the pathetic reputation these jerks have given the exchange/equities asset allocation process. JMHO Bob
