Be a Micro-Loan Lender though KIVA and help fund someone's dream business opportunity. KIVA - kiva.org

I try to fund micro-loans for those that do not have the capital to finance their small business. I utilize the KIVA non-profit network to help me place these loans.

Here is my recent loan profile through KIVA: (member since November 2006 . . . Yes that's me 2nd in from right)

I tend to prefer to invest with older women who raise poultry. They always pay back their loans!

I receive no interest on my loans but the satisfaction that I might be helping somebody that otherwise had no chance. When the loans are repaid, I loan the money back out again.

I always try to remind myself how lucky I am to be a value investor searching everyday for undervalued investing opportunities. When I close a successful trade, I try to fund another KIVA project so someone less fortunate can go for their dream too.
