If you want to test me pick one or two of those statements you say may be based on data and I'll get you the links....
So, here we are. You wrote: "I challenge you to find one statement I have posted to you that is not based on scientific data." I did the research and discovered 35, 39, or 40 statements, depending on how you want to count them, that were NOT based on scientific data and NOT A SINGLE ONE that was demonstrably based on scientific data, utterly falsifying your implied assertion. You declined to acknowledge that.
Instead, you are trying to divert attention from that fiasco by offering to do the research to find the scientific basis for ONE OF THE FORTY, my choice. Notice the switch from all your statements based on scientific data to just maybe possibly one. OK, I'll play. I choose:
"my primary has the paper taped to the wall of his examining room and with my concurrence he has adjusted my statin dose to reduce my LDL with a target of 70...my numbers are very close to that.... At that dose, plaque buildup is actually supposed to reverse..."

Have at it--statement of premise and supporting scientific data, if you please...
How are the nuts and twigs working today?
Not only am I not a conservative, I'm not a vegetarian. You get the strangest ideas. <g>
I interpreted this statement as you being in favor of rationing..
If that was the basis of your reaction to my statement, why did you address statins, cholesterol, and CVD rather than rationing? |
