If only one of these programs were able to access regular internet quote servers!
They keep adding bells and whistles, but still can't use the widely available delayed and realtime servers on the net. Where is the problem? I guess now that Reuters bought Omega I can give up waiting for that feature. Papyrus' Internet Trader used to be a reasonable alternative although very limited charting, look at the data access... if only they didn't start to throw away tick data after just one day. Well and you can't export anyway - tsss...

I have found every program and service unsatisfactory, considering what I know is easily possible. What you can get really big bucks could be pulled together at very low cost by one good programmer.

Omega could just include the kind of updating available in a shareware called personal stock monitor - check out the server choices there!
There is even shareware, that will get free quotes from the net and have your own modem page you; in intervals or if any stops you set are triggered. Last time I checked those paging services were charging a whopping $150 a month for this...

Does anyone know any software, that will retrieve internet quotes and write them into metastock files?
