IMO, such a program would not take that long. Drilling with 5 drills a fence of holes on strike of several km to confirm grades and continuity could generate a billon(s) tonnes inferred resource in much less than a year, if the resource is there. On the economic front, we will know soon about the raw numbers are as you said and will be extrapolate as the resource grow. Vale or any other suitor will wait for those numbers before acting, I think.
