The article you posted seems like a very old article published at the end of 1995 because it talked about sales projection for 1996 and mentioned Intel having 50% of the flash market, and Sandisk was not even mentioned. Nevertheless, this is an article with valuable "historical" value. It shows how Sandisk, in two years time frame, evolved from an unknown company to the number one position today with 80%-90% of the flash market. A year ago, the stock was at $10.00 refecting its underdog position. Hmmm, what will be this company in another 2 years? Hopefully, at least another ATMEL (ATML - market cap = 2.58B), or XILINX (XLNX - market cap = 2.44B), or AMD (AMD - market cap = 3.18B). Sandisk's current market cap is about 700M.
