30 August 2010 - 10 pages

June EIA-914 Data – Today, the EIA released its Natural Gas Monthly and EIA-914
production data for June. Onshore U.S. natural gas production of 58.3 Bcf/d was
down 0.5 Bcf/d versus May’s all-time high of 58.8 Bcf/d, and marked the first time
onshore production has posted a sequential decline since December 2009. Our
models had projected a 0.2 Bcf/d sequential uptick. Nonetheless, U.S. onshore
production increased 2.5 Bcf/d year over year, and we continue to expect
production to increase by around 3 Bcf/d by year-end versus the start of the year.
Otherwise, natural gas demand in June of 55.0 Bcf/d was essentially in line with
our forecast of 54.8 Bcf/d.
