A lot of people especially Bushies drank that Kool Aid....But when push came to shove, our allies wouldn't act on those stores and finally Hans Blix reported 4 times that there no WMD's in Iraq.....he asked Bush for 2 more weeks to wrap it up and Bush refused... Btw, you should add a few dozen Cheney and Rummy quotes to that list....they not only said Saddam had them, but they knew where..
