I'm no weather forecaster just a old lurker of this site but I want to make an observation...

Yesterday I read one of the weather sites saying that the Mid US continent Cold front was going to be the steering mechanism for Earl to be forced Northward by this weekend...

well that cold front is not going to hit Michigan, where I am, until late Friday or Sat sometime...

seems to me that Earl will not be deterred from a continuing Westward tract until Monday or Tuesday if indeed that cold front is the only thing standing between landfall and a Northward turn...

is this possible...

again I'm no weatherman, sure hope I'm missing something...

Chas.
