Based on what GZ correctly noted earlier, I checked specifically to see if the same observation also held true for for the Aug-Sep-Oct period alone. I found that it did.

When August finished in the lowest 20 percent of the monthly range, September and October experienced 7 UPS and 6 DOWNS, respectively, or UP about 53.8 percent of the time.

However, we have never had an illegal alien African Muslim radical masquerading as POTUS and wrecking the economy, the nation, its reputation, and its people more and more each day! That son-of-a-bitch has proven time and time again that he is worse than the kiss of death! -ng-

Consequently, I am betting the farm that the SPX finishes DOWN for the next two months... and HOPING I am right! -g-
