How about a lot of the regulation that has been put in place and back in place since the beginning of the Bush Great Depression II? 1. You need more than a pulse to get a mortgage. Hell, you probably need a DOWNPAYMENT! You not only need docs, you need a good credit score! You have to show proof of income! 2. Banks can no longer have in-house market players. 3. Derivitives are traded on open exchanges. ..and on and on and on..
