Today I watched the live TV debate between Boxer and Fiorina. I thought Fiorina was finished when a questioner from the crowd, a HP retiree, quoted from one of her speeches she made to the employees where she said something like "...American workers do not have a right to job and have to compete with workers from other countries...." Boxer constantly kept saying that "...she was fired from HP." And when Boxer alleged that Fiorina took the "CEO bailout" Barbara wondered why Fiorina took the exit bonus when her stand with respect to teachers was "merit based pay."

Fiorina was "checkmated" frequently and all she had in response was attack Boxer's record through a series of non-factual statements.

I expect the gap to widen significantly in favor of Boxer starting with Labor day.
