Thanks Petere. It later became obvious while reading through the reference pdf (and with a little help from a friend ;) that those numerical values represented 6Mhz channels, .

If you don't mind, and at the risk of asking you to repeat yourself, kindly elaborate on your view of 'senseless sensing'. Are you suggesting that all frequency selection be table driven? TIA.
