off topic... Can someone tell me what a stop loss order is and how it works. I heard it mentioned once on this thread. I also have holdings in a company ( actc ) and on that thread one of the individuals got an e-mail stating that they use 125 TA indicators and they show a possible selloff situation. All this when earnings are coming out probobly tomorrow and the hype for quite some time has been for another great quarter. I pose this question on this thread because there seems to be some very serious traders here - people who really know what they are doing. Any help from the experienced would be appreciated. thx d.thompson
