Thanks for those references. SSC's views align with my earlier understanding, i.e., that sensing would be required for some interim period, at least, in order to clean up the database. By most of the accounts that I've come across, the geolocation information is both unwieldy and inaccurate due to lapsed license renewals and unpredictable usage patterns by some license holders, at best. Of course, I may have been standing too close to someone's Kook-Aid stand (lots of folks are selling Kook-Aid these days), but that was my perception, and it still makes some sense to me.
